Car Crashes Into Philadelphia Creek, Driver Critical

A 54-year-old man is in critical condition after crashing into Cresheim Creek in Chestnut Hill early Sunday evening.

CHESTNUT HILL, PHILADELPHIA — A man is in critical condition after crashing a vehicle into a creek Sunday in Philadelphia.

The crash happened at about 4 p.m. Sunday at Lincoln and Cresheim Valley drives in Philadelphia's Chestnut Hill section, according to Action News and Philadelphia Police.

Authorities said the 54-year-old driver's vehicle flipped over a guardrail and into Cresheim Creek.

The driver was taken to Albert Einstein Medical Center in extremely critical condition and the vehicle was lifted out of the creek, Fox 29 reports.
