Germantown Meetinghouse Hosting Jazz Vocalist
The Germantown Mennonite Meetinghouse will host jazz vocalist Paula Johns as part of a fundraiser.

The following is a press release from the Germantown Mennonite Meetinghouse.
Accomplished jazz vocalist Paula Johns, “La Chanteuse de Jazz,” will present an intimate evening of jazz standards from the Great American Songbook on Friday, March 22 at 7:30 p.m. in the historic 1770 Germantown Mennonite Meetinghouse, located at 6119 Germantown Avenue. Snack sales and a portion of the proceeds will benefit the historic site.
Ms. Johns is an accomplished cabaret singer and jazz vocalist who hails from our own great city, Philadelphia. She is often compared to Ella Fitzgerald and some of the great contemporaries of that era, but Paula brings her own distinctive panache to each song she sings. She enjoys a great lyric that tugs at your heartstrings, as well as a lyric that will make you fall off your seat with laughter. Her passion for the music ignites the emotions of her audiences and allows them to feel the stories that each song tells.
