A Wine and Spirits Store employee stopped a man from stealing a bottle of rum from the liquor store located at 8705 Germantown Ave. in Chestnut Hill, police said. The woman told police that a man tried to walk out of the store without paying for a bottle of Bacardi Dragon Berry Flavored Rum. The woman managed to retrieve the bottle before the man fled the store, police said. Police valued the bottle at $16.99.
