Man Receives Parking Ticket for Stolen Vehicle, Police Say

Theft: On March 12, police received a report of a stolen vehicle in the 300 block of Vernon Road.  According to police, a man reported his vehicle had been stolen six or seven years, but he never reported it to the police.  The man, police say, reported his vehicle stolen on March 12 because he received a letter about an unpaid parking ticket the stolen vehicle received Dec. 3, 2012.  The man has not seen or driven the vehicle since 2005, police say.
