Citing the weather forecast, organizers of the Ned Wolf Plant Sale have pushed back the event until Sunday. Saturday's forecast calls for thunderstorms with a chance of rain at 80 percent. Not to worry though, because the sale will still happen at the park on Sunday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The sale will feature hundreds of plants for sale including perennials, sun and shade plants, shrubs, annuals and more. Ned Wolf Park is located in Mt. Airy at the intersection of McCallum and West Ellet streets. All proceeds from sale benefit the Friends of Ned Wolfe Park, and the annual plant sale is their largest fundraiser. Sunday's forecast calls for mostly sunny weather with a high of 64 degrees.
