School Bus Strikes Utility Pole On Hunting Park

PECO crews have been called to the scene Monday afternoon to secure a cracked utility pole.

A PECO utility pole in Hunting Park section of Philadelphia almost cracked in half after a school bus struck it Monday afternoon, according to a Twitter post by Fox 29 reporter Dave Schratwieser.

Crews are responding to the scene at Hunting Park and Macalester roads, where downed power lines and blacked out signals are causing some traffic issues.

A call has been placed to PECO for more information. Be mindful of traffic restrictions as work continues to clear the scene.
