Vehicle Stolen Despite Car Alarm, Police Say

Theft: On April 2, at approximately 7:30 p.m., police received a report of a theft in the 300 block of West Johnson Street.  According to police, a woman returned home from work to find several televisions missing from her apartment.  Police say that there was no sign of forced entry.  Police say that three televisions were taken with an estimated value of $1,400.

Theft: On April 2, at approximately 10 p.m., police received a report of a theft of a vehicle in the 200 block of West Upsal Street.  According to police the vehicle was taken from a side parking lot between 9:35 p.m. and 10 p.m.  Police say that the owner of the vehicle heard her car alarm go off, and checked on her car a short time later to find the vehicle missing.
