Woman Wakes From Coma to Find $5,000 Missing, Police Say

Theft: On March 7, at approximately 4:15 p.m., police received a report of a left at Chestnut Hill College. According to police, a student theft his bag containing a math text book, a pocket handbook and a spiral bound book unattended when another student stole it. Police say that the offending student tried to sell the contents of the bag back to the bookstore.

Theft: According to police, a report of theft was received in the 7300 block of Stenton Ave. Police say that a woman checked her bank account and noticed that someone had taken $5,000 out of the account without her permission. The woman told police that she was in a coma, and police say that the woman claims a man filled out a form and made himself power of attorney.
