Bruno Mars Fans Turned Away Due To Fake Tickets: Reports

Tickets bought on Craigslist to Tuesday night's concert in Pittsburgh turn out to be bogus.

PITTSBURGH — Numerous fans who got in line Tuesday night to see Bruno Mars in concert at the PPG Paints Arena were turned away when their tickets turned out to be fake, according to media reports. The disappointed fans told news outlets that they had bought their tickets on Craigslist.

Several people told WPXI-TV Channel 11 that they found out in the line at the gate for the sold-out show. When their ticket was scanned, they were told it had already been used.

The disappointed fans had bought the tickets online through a Craiglist ad from an individual who claimed to have bought them from Ticketmaster, according to media reports.

The tickets looked real, but when each Bruno Mars fan presented his or her ticket at the gate, they were told the tickets had already been used and that multiple people had tried to use them, KDKA-TV CBS 2 reported.

Officials with PPG Paints Arena and Live Nation, the concert's promoter, could not be reached for comment, Channel 11 reported.
