Cranberry Woman Fell To Her Death in McConnells Mill Park

Officials have identified the woman who died after a fall yesterday evening in McConnells Mill State Park.

Cheryl Goble, 58, was a resident of Cranberry Township. Goble and her husband were taking pictures of fall leaves on Breakneck Bridge when she dropped her camera. She fell while attempting to retrieve her camera by climbing along a ledge in Cheeseman Run.

A rope team and paramedics were called, but Goble died on the scene.
