Grand Gelt Drop: Cranberry Hanukkah Celebration Details Revealed
Here's what you need to know about the upcoming Hanukkah celebration and menorah lighting.
CRANBERRY TOWNSHIP, PA — The township's annual Hanukkah celebration and public menorah lighting is set for Dec. 7 at 5 p.m. at the municipal center on Rochester Road.
Attendees can enjoy live music, dancing dreidels, latkes, doughnuts and hot drinks as they await the lighting of the menorah and the Grand Gelt Drop - chocolate coins, or “gelt,” dropped from a Cranberry Township Volunteer Fire Company ladder truck.
