KDKA-TV Hires Former Cranberry Resident As New Reporter
KDKA's latest hire was raised on Mt. Washington before moving to Cranberry.
PITTSBURGH, PA — Alexandra Todd is returning to her hometown.
Todd will join KDKA-TV's reporting staff beginning Sept. 18. Todd announced the move on her Facebook page.
"This Yinzer is coming home!" she stated. "I am still pinching myself that I get to share the stories of the amazing people of Pittsburgh with such an iconic and historic station."

Todd was raised on Mt. Washington before moving to Cranberry and attending Seneca Valley High School.
According to her resume posted online, Todd is a 2013 graduate of New York University, where she studied early childhood and special education. She obtained her master's degree in journalism from Northwestern University in 2021.

Todd most recently was a morning anchor on Dakota News Now in Sioux Falls, SD. She also was an anchor and video reporter on Chicago This Week.
Todd also has acting experience, having appeared in three off-Broadway plays and on TV shows such as AMC's "Mad Men," Showtime's "Billions," and Netflix's "Orange is the New Black."
Her mother is Pennsylvania Supreme Court Chief Justice Debra Todd.
