According to Bessler, calls to VEG ER for Pets are answered by a licensed veterinarian to get their medical questions answered immediately. Triage begins as soon people walk in the door, even before filling out paperwork. Pet owners are allowed to stay with their pet through all stages of treatment, including hospitalization.

The hospital also has an open floor plan, allowing pet owners the freedom of movement and for veterinarians and staff to include a pet's family every step of the way.
