Seneca Valley Operating on Two-Hour Delay Monday

The area remains under a winter weather advisory until 2 p.m.

The Seneca Valley School District is operating on a two-hour delay Monday after a spring snow storm coated the area overnight.

The kindergarten schedule is as follows:

  • Connoquenessing Valley/Haine/Rowan/Evans City AM Kindergarten: Arrival - 10:40 a.m.; Dismissal - 12:35 p.m.
  • Connoquenessing Valley/Haine/Rowan/Evans City PM Kindergarten: Arrival - 1:15 p.m.; Dismissal - 3:15 p.m.

St. Kilian Parish School in Cranberry and St. Gregory in Zelienople also have issued a two-hour delay for Monday.

Nearly all of western Pennsylvania, including Butler County, remains under a winter weather advisory issued by the National Weather Service until 2 p.m. tonight.

Monday: Snow, mainly before 4pm. The snow could be heavy at times. High near 37. East wind 5 to 13 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100 percent. Total daytime snow accumulation of 1 to 3 inches possible.

Monday Night: A chance of snow showers, mainly before 8 p.m. Cloudy, with a low around 27. North wind 7 to 9 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30 percent. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.
