Seneca Valley Students Named Positive Athletes in Hines Ward Program

The program honors high-character athletes in western Pennsylvania.

A host of Seneca Valley student-athletes were recently chosen by their coaches as a "Positive Athlete" role model on their respective teams.

This honor is part of Positive Athlete Pittsburgh, led by former Steelers great Hines Ward. This program is a movement by high-character athletes in Western Pennsylvania to promote the benefits of “positivity” to young athletes.

The seven definitions of a Positive Athlete include having an optimistic attitude, being an encouraging teammate, having a heart for others and more.
