• Harrisburg Diocese condemns social media comment by Dauphin County Deacon (wgal.com) — Residents in Dauphin County are reacting after the Diocese of Harrisburg condemned a Facebook comment by a Lykens Borough deacon that it called inconsistent with Catholic values. The diocese confirmed the comment in a pro-Trump group, labeled it unacceptable, and says it is handling the matter internally while declining further public details because it involves personnel.
   

• Hundreds of thousands invested into Midstate manufacturing training programs (abc27.com) — Dauphin County is included in a new wave of manufacturing apprenticeship funding, with the Manufacturers’ Association receiving $200,000 to support programs serving Dauphin and neighboring counties. Combined with nearly $400,000 for Lancaster County’s robotics pre-apprenticeship and other statewide workforce initiatives, the investment aims to expand STEM training and manufacturing career pathways for local students and workers.
