Graduate Nathan Dawe said he was happy to be graduating, but that the event was somewhat bittersweet.

"It's sort of sad because a lot of these people I might not see again," Dawe said. "A lot of us are going to different schools and things like that."

Many of his classmates shared the same feeling, saying that although they were excited to move on, they would miss their friends and fun times at Keystone Oaks.

A few of them had some pieces of advice for the underclassmen who haven't yet graduated:

  • Live everyday like the last, because graduation gets here before you know it. - Olivia Lippert.
  • Stay consistent with your grades throughout high school, because you don't want to have to work extra hard at the end. - Zach Rafalowski.
  • It goes really fast, so cherish all those moments, even if you don't like it at the time. - Paige Passatore.
  • Don't miss school. Just do your work, try your hardest and get through it. - Trevor Urban.
  • Do all the work and get through it, because you have to be here anyway. - Colton Lorenz.

Whatever the advice that got them through, and whatever awaits them in their futures, congratulations to the Class of 2012!
