Brookline Boulevard Violence: Man Shot In Broad Daylight

BROOKLINE, PA — Police continue to investigate a Monday afternoon shooting on the 800 block of Brookline Boulevard that seriously wounded a man.

Police were dispatched to the area at around 4:15 p.m. for reports of a man shot. When they arrived, an off-duty medic and a firefighter were rendering aid to the victim. Medics transported him to the hospital in serious but stable condition with at least two gunshot wounds to the abdomen.

Police searched the the area for two male suspects, both believed to be juveniles, but no arrests have been made.

The Mobile Crime Unit processed evidence and Violent Crime Unit detectives continue to investigate the incident.
