Brookline Bus Route Detoured In Downtown Street Project

Many Port Authority bus routes have been detoured as a result of a construction project in the heart of Downtown Pittsburgh.

PITTSBURGH, PA — A key Downtown intersection has closed for a month. The complete replacement of the crosswalks and intersection of Wood Street and Sixth Avenue will disrupt a number of bus routes, the Port Authority of Allegheny County announced.

One of the impacted bus routes in the Brookline one.

Sixth Avenue is closed entirely from Liberty Avenue to Smithfield Street (Grant Street for buses) and Wood is closed from Oliver Avenue to Liberty Avenue.
