Brookline Pioneer Avenue Work To Cause Traffic Headaches

A portion of Pioneer Avenue is closing beginning on Monday.

BROOKLINE, PA — A gas line replacement project will cause traffic woes in Brookline for several months.

Starting Monday, Pioneer Avenue will be closed between Dunster Street and Berkshire Avenue from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekdays and from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturdays. The project is expected to last until the end of July.

Traffic will be detoured while Pioneer is closed.
