Cassandra's to Close Storefront, But Stay Open

is closing its West Liberty Avenue storefront temporarily, but business owner Cassandra Gillen said it won't affect her customers.

Gillen said she plans to continue to serve her customers as an independent, consierge florist.

"I can still do any arrangement, for anybody, anytime, anywhere," Gillen said. "It's just that instead of having a store, this will be a private service. I'm just basically going to continue to cater to what the customer needs."

The West Liberty Avenue storefront will close on July 28. Gillen said she still can do floral arrangements for weddings, funerals, other special occasions or personal needs.

Gillen said she is temporarily closing the storefront for personal reasons, and plans to re-open a store in the area by the end of the year.
