Dormont Doggie Dip Time: Give Your Canine A Pool Experience

DORMONT, PA — The Dormont Pool invites you to bring your dog to the annual Dormont Doggie Dip. This end of summer event features swim sessions for your dog.

All proceeds from the vent will go to building the future dog park in Dormont.

The event will be held Sept. 4 from 4 p.m.-7:30 with three sessions. The cost is $20 per dog and there will be no refunds if sessions have to be canceled due to severe weather.

Here is the schedule:

Session 1: Small Dogs (30 pounds and under) – 4-5: p.m. (check-in begins at 3:30 p.m. gates open to swim at 4 p.m.)

Session 2: All Dogs, 5:15-6:15 p.m. (check in begins at 4:45 p.m., gates open to swim at 5:15 p.m.)

Session 3: Large Dogs (60 pounds or more) – 6:30-7:30pm (check in begins at 6 p.m., gates open to swim at 6:30 p.m)

Registration is required ahead of the event. There currently are no plans for day of registration.

Registration has opened online and in-person during office hours at the municipal building.
