Liberty Bridge Lane Restrictions: The Latest Schedule

As the lengthy renovation of the bridge nears its completions, more traffic headaches are on the way for motorists.

PITTSBURGH, PA - Lane restrictions will occur on the Liberty Bridge this weekend and continue through Aug. 5, PennDOT has announced.

Single-lane restrictions will occur in both directions of the span. The schedule:

  • Saturdays and Sundays: 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 8 p.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Weekdays: 1- a.m. to 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.

Restrictions won’t occur in the same direction simultaneously.

Additionally, single-lane restrictions will occur daily from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. on Arlington Avenue near the bridge, between McArdle Roadway and East Carson Street.
