Liberty Bridge Lane Restrictions Occurring Again
Find out here when the latest restrictions will occur.

PITTSBURGH, PA - Sure signs of spring include the return of birds, more daylight and lane restrictions on the Liberty Bridge. PennDOT doesn’t control the birds or daylight, but the agency is making certain there are lane restrictions on the span.
Single-lane restrictions will occur in both directions of the bridge March 26-30 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. as crews clean and remove platforms. Lane closures will not occur simultaneously in each direction.
Additionally, a single-lane restriction will occur as needed on McKean Street underneath the bridge between First Avenue and Second Avenue weekdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. through April 6. Crews will conduct pier rehabilitation work.
The work is part of an $80 million renovation of the bridge.
