No Activity Buses at KO This Year

Keystone Oaks will not offer an activity bus during the 2012-13 school year.

The will not provide activiity buses for any of the district buildings for the 2012-13 school year.

Parents or guardians of students who participate in after-school activities will be responsible for the student's transportation from the school.

District public relations director Jim Cromie said in an email Monday that the decision was made for budgetary reasons. Only a handful of students had been using the activity buses, he said, and it was becoming expensive to run the buses to three communities. Typically, most students are either finding their own rides or driving themselves, he said.
