Pittsburgh Providing City Residents Vouchers For Dormont Pool Use
With many city pools unable to open this summer, Citiparks is providing residents with a nearby alternative.

DORMONT, PA — Pittsburgh is providing city residents with voucher coupons to swim at the Dormont Pool for the rest of the summer season.
Citiparks announced that the coupons will provide free entry for children and $2 off for adults, matching the daily city pool rate of $5 per day for adults. Coupons will be available starting July 30 from the eight open City of Pittsburgh pool locations during business hours, or from Brookline or Phillips recreation centers from 9 a.m to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday.
City season pool tags are not transferable at the Dormont Pool.

The program was initiated because many city pools have been unable to open this summer because of a lifeguard shortage.
The Dormont Pool is open Tuesday to Sunday from 1-7 p.m. until August 22, then it will be open on weekends through Labor Day. City pool schedules are available here.
