Potomac Avenue Closure: What You Need To Know

Potomac Avenue in Dormont will be closed on Saturday and there will be traffic restrictions on several other nearby streets.

DORMONT, PA — Potomac Avenue will be closed to all traffic from West Liberty Avenue to Belrose Avenue beginning at 6 a.m. Saturday for the2024 Dormont Street and Musical Festival, which will occur 1 p.m.-8 p.m.

All streets leading into Potomac Avenue in that area will also be shut down except for local traffic with no access to Potomac Avenue. There will be no parking on Potomac Avenue overnight on Oct. 4 and all day on Oct. 5.

Parking also will be restricted on the first adjacent blocks immediately off of Potomac starting at 6 a.m.

Potomac is expected to reopen at around 12 a.m.
