Purse, Credit Cards Stolen From Vehicle in Dormont

Dormont police are investigating a theft-from-vehicle incident that occurred last week in the 3000 block of Wainbell Avenue.

According to the police report, a purse containing a driver's license, other identification, checks, two credit cards and various accessories was stolen from the car.

The victim told police the theft likely happened between 2 p.m. on April 7 and 11 a.m. on April 8. It is unknown whether the car was locked at the time of the theft, but no signs of forced entry were found.
