Recipe: Lemon Chicken Pasta with Veggies
Try this healthy meal that has a little bit of flavor.

It seems like it’s hard to make healthy meals that have any sort of flavor.
But throw a few vegetables and some sliced chicken breast into pasta with a dash of lemon and you can have a great dinner for two or the whole family.
Here’s what you need to make a healthy and fresh summer dinner.

12 oz of mushrooms
1 onion sliced
½ can of black olives
1 pound of chicken
Angel hair pasta noodles
2 tbsp of lemon juice (or add lemon juice to taste)
1 tbsp of olive oil
Slice the mushrooms, onion and black olives so they can be sautéed in the pan. Use at least half of the onion and can of olives (or more if you really like veggies). Add the lemon juice (or more for flavor) and olive oil to the skillet.

While the vegetables are cooking down on the stove, begin cooking the chicken breast (use a pound or less, depending on your preference).
While everything is cooking, boil water for the angle hair pasta noodles. When the chicken is cooked thoroughly, slice into small pieces and add to the vegetables with another dash of lemon juice.
Strain pasta and serve together for a tasty meal.
