Red Line Work Triggering Significant T Delays This Weekend
If you're using the T to get around town Memorial Day weekend, allow yourself plenty of extra time.
PITTSBURGH, PA - Expect significant delays and inconvenience on the T this holiday weekend as Port Authority of Allegheny County replaces a rail switch along the South Busway near South Hills Junction.
Red Line riders who are located between Castle Shannon and Palm Garden and traveling inbound must first board an outbound vehicle, ride to Willow/Overbrook Junction and transfer to any inbound vehicle. Transfers at Willow/Overbrook Junction will be free.
Red Line riders who are located south of Castle Shannon and traveling Downtown may board any inbound vehicle.
Outbound Red Line service and Blue Line service in both directions will operate regularly, but significant delays are expected. Riders with questions or comments should call Port Authority Customer Service at 412-442-2000 or 412-231-7007.
