1 Person Injured In ​Officer-Involved Shooting In Buckingham

Detectives from the Bucks County District Attorney's office are investigating the incident, which happened Saturday afternoon.

BUCKINGHAM TOWNSHIP, PA — One person was injured Saturday afternoon during an officer-involved shooting in Buckingham Township, according to the Bucks County District Attorney's Office.

The incident happened around 4 p.m. in the 4800 block of Redfield Road, said county investigators.

"There is no ongoing threat to the community, although law enforcement remained on scene to continue the investigation," said the statement.

Investigators said one person was injured during the incident and was being treated on Saturday for injuries.

Police-involved shootings in Bucks County are investigated by county detectives and reviewed by the District Attorney. Additional details will be released at the conclusion of the investigation or if significant information becomes available sooner, the DA's office said.
