PERKASIE, PA — Police in Perkasie are warning residents of distraction crimes, after a number of these types of incidents were reported in the area.
Police say in a distraction crime, a homeowner is approached and asked to show their property lines. While the homeowner is distracted outside by the first person making the request, another person enters the home.
Homeowners should notify police if anyone approaches with similar requests.
