Bigger Doylestown GIANT Store To Open In 2021
Construction on the new 72,500 square foot Doylestown GIANT is scheduled to begin in March with an anticipated opening later this year.
DOYLESTOWN, PA — A bigger GIANT supermarket store is slated to open in the Cross Keys Place shopping plaza later this year, the company announced Monday.
The new, 72,500 square foot store will be located at 4377 West Swamp Road, once occupied by Kmart, and will replace the current GIANT store at 4357 West Swamp Road. Staff will be transferred to the new store, the company said, which will include "a focus on meal solutions" along with expanded hot foods and ready to eat offerings, including an updated Beer & Wine Eatery and an in-store Starbucks kiosk, the company said in a news release.
“This latest project is part of our continuing investment in our store base to enhance the shopping experience for our customers and best meet their grocery needs,” GIANT President Nicholas Bertram said. “Today’s customers are looking for quick, easy and affordable meal solutions, allowing families to spend more time together around the table. Our new Doylestown store will feature amenities and offerings to bring convenience front and center for our customers.”
