DOYLESTOWN, PA — Buckingham farmer Aaron Stepnoski has been named this year’s Fred Grohsen Bucks County Farmer of the Year.

Bucks County Commissioner Bob Harvie recently presented a proclamation to Stepnoski at a Bucks County Conservation District (BCCD) meeting recognizing him for winning the award.

Stepnoski, a local crop farmer and dairy science consultant, rents land on the Wicen home farm in Furlong to grow corn, soy and wheat. To fix major sediment erosion on the farm, Stepnoski is using conservation practices in his daily operation, including no-till planting and multi-crop rotation.
