Bucks For Books Aims To Raise $10K For Libraries Starting On World Book Day
Every $20 donated will add another book, including e-books and audiobooks, to Bucks County Free Library's county-wide collection.

BUCKS COUNTY, PA — Bucks County Free Library's third annual Bucks for Books fundraiser begins on World Book Day this Saturday.
The library hopes to raise $10,000 for new physical books, e-books and audiobooks. According to a release, every $20 donated pays for a new book in the collection shared by all Bucks County public libraries.
Bucks County Free Library users checked out more than 2 million books, Bucks County Free Library's collection management director Holly Ambrose reported.

“Since the beginning of the pandemic, library cardholders have borrowed library e-books more than ever,” she said. “The support we receive during Bucks for Books will help us purchase additional copies to keep wait times down while maintaining a strong collection of physical books in all our branches.”
