Bucks Co. Free Library Offers New Way To Explore The Outdoors With Nature Backpacks 

The library said it's excited to announce a brand-new way to bring learning and adventure outside the library walls: nature backpacks.

DOYLESTOWN, PA — The Bucks County Free Library is offering a brand-new way to bring learning and adventure outside the library walls: nature backpacks, generously gifted by Heritage Conservancy.

The backpacks are perfect for families, kids, and anyone who loves wandering outdoors. Each backpack is packed with hands-on tools for nature exploration, including: binoculars for spotting different types of wildlife, magnifying glasses to examine leaves and insects and scavenger hunts to make every walks an adventure discovery.

"Whether you’re taking a stroll in your local park, hiking a nearby trail, or even exploring your backyard, these backpacks provide the perfect way to learn, explore, and connect with nature," said the library.

  • Search “Nature Backpack” in the library catalog to place one on hold at your local branch.
  • Take it on your next outdoor adventure and enjoy all the tools and activities inside.
  • Return it when your adventure is done.
