Bucks Co. House Fire Under Investigation: Police

Buckingham authorities are investigating a fire that began in a house garage Saturday night.

BUCKINGHAM, PA - Buckingham authorities are investigating a fire that began in a house garage Saturday night.

Authorities responded to the 3200 block of Antler Drive around 9:41 p.m. to battle the blaze after the homeowner called 911, reporting smelling smoke coming from the area of the attached home garage.

The family was able to safely exit the home and await the arrival of emergency personnel, police said. Police and fire units were able to confirm that everyone was out of the home and accounted for, Buckingham police said in a statement.

The attached garage of the home was “fully involved” with flames and fire units were able to stop the extension of the fire, police said.

There were no injuries reported. The fire is currently under investigation by the Buckingham Fire Marshall.

Fire Companies from Midway, Doylestown, and Point Pleasant responded to the scene along with Central Bucks Ambulance.
