Bucks Co. Ice Cream Shop Vying For National Ranking: Voting Ends At Noon

BUCKS COUNTY, PA — Have you voted yet? Bucks County-based Owowcow is in the running as one of the "Top 10 Ice Cream Shops in America."

Twenty ice cream stores, including Owowcow, are vying for national recognition in the USA Today 10Best Readers' Choice Awards.

“We were honored to take third place last year and sixth place the year prior. This year we are going for the gold,” the folks at Owowcow posted on Facebook.

With the final ranking determined by a public vote, the ice cream shop continues to encourage customers and fans to support its nomination by going online and casting a daily vote for Owowcow.

Votes can be cast once per day until polls close on Monday, June 9, at noon. The 10 winning shops, as determined by the public vote, will be announced on Wednesday, June 18.

Since 2009, Owowcow has been hand-crafting super-premium ice cream from scratch using local organic and natural ingredients that support local agriculture.

Its ice cream cases hold 24 flavors of ice cream, including 12 signature core flavors that the creamery makes year-round at all stores. The other spots are filled with monthly specials and seasonal favorites, along with dairy-free sorbet and vegan ice cream.

Owowcow has locations in Wrightstown, Chalfont, Ottsville, and Easton in Pennsylvania, and Lambertville, New Jersey.
