Bucks Coroner Identifies Victim In Fatal Quakertown Crash: Report
A 17-year-old Quakertown teen was killed in a crash in Bucks County on Sunday night, WFMZ reported.
QUAKERTOWN, PA — State police have identified the victim in a fatal crash that happened in upper Bucks County on Sunday night.
Makayla Smith, 17, of Quakertown, was driving northbound in a 2019 Toyota FRS on John Fries Highway in the left lane near Weiss Road when she suddenly crossed the raised concrete traffic island and collided with an oncoming vehicle, state police said.
The 19-year-old driver of the other vehicle, a 2013 Chevy Silverado, were not seriously injured in the crash, nor were their two passengers, according to police.

The crash happened around 10 p.m. Sunday. Smith was pronounced dead at the scene.
The cause of the collision remains under investigation.

State police were assisted by St. Luke's EMS and the Milford Township Volunteer Fire Company.
