Bucks County Candidates To Speak At Forum Oct. 18-19
The League of Women Voters of Bucks County will host two in-person forums for Bucks County positions that are up for election this November.
DOYLESTOWN, PA — Two in-person forums for Bucks County political candidates will be sponsored and hosted by the League of Women Voters of Bucks County. The first forum will be held tonight, Oct. 18, and the second one tomorrow, Oct. 19.
"A major part of the mission of the League is to educate voters about candidates in federal, state and local races," the organization said in a press release.
Tonight's forum will be between candidates for the position of Bucks County District Attorney. The candidates for this event are incumbent Matt Weintrab and Antonetta Stancu. The event will be held from 7-8:30 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 18.

Tomorrow's forum will be between candidates for the Bucks County Court of Common Pleas. The candidates for this event are Tiffany Thomas-Smith and Stephen Corr. The event will also be held from 7-8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 19.
The event will be live-streamed from the organization's Facebook page and will later be available on their YouTube page. There will be no in-person event for the public due to concerns over the COVID-19 pandemic.

Candidates and moderators will meeting in person while respecting CDC guidelines. A trained moderator will conduct each forum.
