Bucks County COVID Cases Going Down: See Latest Stats
Hospitalizations, deaths, positive cases, and positivity rates are all declining in Bucks County following December's omicron surge.
BUCKS COUNTY, PA — COVID-19 cases in Bucks County have continued to decline over the past two weeks, the latest data from the Bucks County Department of Health shows.
The county failed to provide an update last week due to a delay in reporting data, so the new numbers are being compared with the period between Jan. 13 and Jan. 20.
But following the omicron surge that saw Bucks County cases spiking to the highest numbers seen throughout the pandemic, it's definitely good news this week.

Between Jan. 27 and Feb. 3, the county health department reported 1,103 positive COVID-19 cases — that's 1,964 fewer cases than two weeks ago.
Of those, 183 cases were seen in children under 11 and 98 cases were in those between 12 and 18. Both of those numbers have dropped significantly since two weeks ago, with under 11 cases down by 274 and cases in those 12 to 18 down by 216.

Bucks County reported 30 deaths, with 19 of them as delayed reports from the prior two weeks.
The Bucks County percent positivity rate is 20.1 percent, down 7.6 percent from two weeks ago.
On Friday, 117 people in Bucks County were in the hospital — a decrease of 123 from two weeks ago — and 10 patients on ventilators, a drop from the previous 19 on ventilators.
But one COVID-19 metric in Bucks County is rising: vaccinations.
More Bucks County residents elected to receive their second shot of the vaccine in the past two weeks, with 4,171 more people getting fully vaccinated for a total of 381,964 fully-vaccinated residents in the county.
