Bucks County Detectives Warn Of Phishing Scam
A scammer is calling people in Bucks County pretending to be from the court clerk's office, police said.
BUCKS COUNTY — Local law enforcement are making Bucks County residents aware of a phone scam circulating in the area.
On Tuesday morning, a county resident received a robocall and was asked questions about getting out of debt and her ability to pay her monthly bills. The caller ID listed the incoming number of the Bucks County Clerk of Courts, she said.
That county office does not perform those types of transactions, the Bucks County District Attorney's Office said.

The resident hung up the phone and didn't give any personal information, but police are worried that others may fall victim to the con.
Anyone who received a similar call should contact county detectives at 215-348-6354.
