Midway Firefighters To Escort Santa Through Parts Of Buckingham, Solebury

LAHASKA, PA — The firefighters from the Midway Volunteer Fire Company will be escorting Santa through parts of Buckingham and Solebury townships during its annual Santa Run on Saturday, Dec. 20, beginning at noon and continuing until they are done. Two trucks will depart Stations 5 and 15 for the holiday ride through the townships.

"Streets are listed in order of travel, so open up your map app to help gain the best perspective and ideal vantage point for seeing the big guy. He'll be the guy on top of the fire truck wearing red," the firefighters said.

The fire company is asking that the public keep their dogs on a leash and their children safely by their side on sidewalks and out of the roadway. "Whatever you do, please do not run out into the street in front of our trucks!"

"How will you know if Santa is getting close? Trust us. You'll hear our airhorns and sirens approaching long before we get there! Pretend they are sleigh bells!"
