Byers' Choice GermanFest To Showcase Culture, Cuisine In Chalfont

The family-friendly event will also feature demonstrations by Ringo Müller, a master wood carver from Eastern Germany.

CHALFONT, PA — Local residents can soon “experience a taste of Germany” at Byers’ Choice in Chalfont, with the business set to host a celebration of German culture, cuisine and craftsmanship.

GermanFest, scheduled to run from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sept. 18, will feature traditional food and craft beer, as well as vendors selling German merchandise like Oktoberfest clothing and paper advent calendars, according to a news release. Byers’ Choice artisans will also be selling their crafts at GermanFest.

The family-friendly event will also feature demonstrations by Ringo Müller, a master wood carver from Eastern Germany. Müller is the fourth-generation owner of the renowned Müller studio, which produces Christmas nutcrackers, smokers and pyramids that “are cherished in homes around the world,” organizers said.

Many guests will head home with a special “Beer Waitress” Caroler figurine, the release states. Admission and parking are free for the event at Byers’ Choice, 4355 County Line Road, Chalfont.
