CB West Grad's Death Ruled 'Undetermined,' Police Seek Public Help

Investigators still aren't certain how a CB West graduate died last year and are asking the public for help.

They want to know who Natalie Marella was with in the hours before her body was discovered near a cornfield in New Hanover Township on Aug. 29, 2012.

While the investigation continues into the death of the 26-year-old Marella, the Montgomery County District Attorney's Office has announced the findings of the investigation into her cause of death.

The Montgomery County Coroner determined that a seizure disorder caused Marella's death, according to a press release. The release also notes that she had a head injury, which it describes as a "significant condition." A toxicology report showed no significant findings.

While officials reached a conclusion on what killed her, they're still not sure how it happened; the manner of Marella's death has been ruled "undetermined."

District Attorney Risa Ferman, along with New Hanover Township Police Chief Kevin McKeon, are continuing their investigation into Marella's death, and they're requesting public assistance in determining who Marella was with at the time of her death.

Police initially responded in August to a report of a body that had been discovered next to a cornfield along the 2400 block of Little Road in New Hanover Township. Two days later, the body was identified as Marella. She graduated from Central Bucks High School West in 2004, and lived in Ambler at the time of her death.
