Central Bucks Cancels Afterschool Events Wednesday Due To Ida
Ida could bring up to 6 inches of rainfall to Eastern Pennsylvania by Thursday morning, with forecasters warning of "widespread" flooding.
DOYLESTOWN, PA — Central Bucks school administrators canceled all afterschool sports and activities Wednesday as the remnants of Ida bear down on Bucks County. Administrators made the cancellations based on advice from the Bucks County Emergency Management Agency.
The Central Bucks after-care program will be open until 5 p.m. Wednesday, but school officials are asking parents to pick up their children as soon as possible.
