This year's competition challenged students to draft a proposed amendment to the Constitution, considering a right or freedom that they believe needs to be protected or a section of the Constitution that needs to be changed.
The Central Bucks class then presented their position and answered questions posed by Former Governor Edward Rendell and Judge Marjorie Rendell, with the first place win earning them a check for $1,000 for further civic education, school officials said.
