Central Bucks High Schools Ranked Among PA’s Top 25

Central Bucks East, West and South each received an overall A+ in the ranking and hundreds of glowing reviews from students and alumni.

DOYLESTOWN, PA — Central Bucks boasts three of the top 25 high schools in Pennsylvania, according to a new ranking.

Data analysis company Niche recently released its eighth annual list of the best high schools in the country, as well as a statewide ranking of high schools in the Keystone State.

Central Bucks East was ranked No. 12 in the state, with Central Bucks West just a few places behind at No. 17, the ranking shows. Central Bucks South was ranked the 22nd best high school in the state.

The three Central Bucks high schools are the highest-ranked high schools in Bucks County. Julia R. Masterman Secondary School in the Philadelphia City School District is the best high school in Pennsylvania, according to Niche’s rankings.

Traditional rankings rely almost exclusively on metrics like test scores and academic performance, but Niche's rankings combine user input — ratings from current students, alumni, and parents — with data from sources like the U.S. Department of Education to evaluate teachers, resources and facilities, extracurricular activity opportunities, and more.
