Central Bucks K9 'Odie' Graduates Patrol Training

DOYLESTOWN, PA — Officer Greg Kutys and K9 Odie from Central Bucks Regional Police have completed a year-long intensive training program, the department announced Friday.

Officer Kutys and the K9 have graduated K9 Patrol Training at Penn Vet Working Dog Center. They now join K9 Baron and Officer Andrew Hochmuth to complete the Central Bucks Regional Police K9 unit.

Both K9 teams will continue in-serve training twice a month in the interest of best practices, police said.

The department's K9 unit is made possible through the Central Bucks Regional Police Foundation as well as major donors including the Fred Beans Family Dealership, The Thompson Organization, Havis, Bob Shaw's Signs, Univest, Discover Doylestown, Eagle Power Turf & Tractor and Covenant Bank.
