Central Bucks Police Hold Recognition Ceremony

The Central Bucks Regional Police Department recently recognized new hires and promoted officers in a special ceremony.

DOYLESTOWN, PA — The Central Bucks Regional Police Department held a recognition ceremony following the June police commission meeting.

The ceremony acknowledged and awarded several law enforcement and professional staff who were commended, hired and promoted during 2020.

Special guest Doylestown resident Ian Kiernan met with officers who saved his life in November.

New hires: K9 Odie, Officer Sean Tropiano, Officer James DiBenedetto, Officer Kyle Maloney, Police Clerk Jen Bodder, Victim Specialist Supervisor Liz Leone, and Victim Specialist Karen Edwards

Promotions: Sgt. Mark Bolender and Cpl. Josh Albillar
